Cheeky cat

The neighbours cat often comes on the walls of our backyard and lazes in the sun... Something Diego finds really frustrating as he would like to say hello but cant reach Not sure what my boy wants to do with cats but he is VERY interested in them.. doesnt look as though he would harm them but im afraid ill never find out as he always approaches them in a bouncy puppy way which is bound to make the cats run for their lives

Anyway..i was upstairs in the spare bedroom, with Diego and suddenly as i looked up from my computer what was my surprise to see the said catty on the door step !!! he had come in the yard (probably wondering why today it was so quiet ), into the kitchen and upstairs to find us!!!! He seemed a bit freaked to see us (what did he expect!?? probably the sight of my boy though) and I just had the time to grab Diego (unaware..his sense of smell is pretty bad ) just in case and the cat smoothly ran downstairs I went to check up on him (and make sure he was going out!), locking Diego in the spare bedroom (still unaware...LOL if he knew what hed missed he would never forgive me!)..and the cat is now back on the wall enjoying the sun again
I have to be careful what I leave in the kitchen now I suppose!!

Cheeky cat!!

Sorry not a thread as such just my story of the day!!
It freaked me a little LOL

Re: Cheeky cat

My cat visits the neighbours on a regular basis! My next door neighbour just loves him, so keeps chicken for him!! She has a dog though, and the cat and dog just don't get on at all - they are forever fighting through the gaps in the dividing fence.

The cat normally wins though - he managed to punch the dog on the nose, making it bleed

Re: Cheeky cat

Even though i own 5 cats, my dogs are fascinated over ones they dont know. A few years back a neighbour had a big white Norweigan Forest.
This cat was obsessed with our house and garden, probably because we have free range rabbits. It started off sitting on the fence, with the dogs tearing down the garden to it. Then it moved to the lid of the wheelie bin. It never ran off when my boys ran up to it, and i think this confused them.
Not wanting to risk its life, we called it a "friend" or "baby" words my dogs know mean that they have to be friendly and gentle.
We ended up calling it pussycat friend, and in the end both my dogs pretty much ignored it.

The owner moved away, and 8 months later asked me to house-sit for her, to watch her Doberman and the 2 cats. She said i could take my dogs as she had a dog room/tv room they could stay in. I was worried that they wouldnt remember eachother, but when i got there, pussycat friend just waltzed up to my boys, rubbed against them and wandered off.

Its been about 4 years now, and if i say "wheres pussyct friend" Alfie still runs to the corner in the garden this little cat used to sit.
