i suspect my dogs pedigree is made up, is there any way of finding out. there are no contact numbers so i am at a loss

there is no kc information or contact details either. it has only been signed. i have googled a few names on there but got no results. the vaccination card arrived today too. all of the details have been tippexed over and re written.
she has also forged the veterinary surgeons name,
this has got me pretty worried now.
the dog is a 9 month chihuahua bitch

Without K.C registration documents you will never know! Did you buy it as K.C registered?
It doesnt sound good.
If I were you I would phone the vet on the vaccine card to check of any details or history of the dog.
It may be that its not vaccinated at all, which in that case you will need to get it done before you take the little fella out.
Sounds very dodgy, not to worry you though.
The bottom line is pedigrees mean little without the K.C papers to back it up.

the vet havnt heard of her so she has done the dirty on me

i already started her vaccinations when i got her, i had an inkling something was off back then. i have got the bitch though as she has text me and told me lies which i have kept. i reckon the vet will want to do something as the has forged his signature on the vaccination card. i cant believe that she didnt even bother to to tell me the pup was not allowed out.....she will pay for this

Trading standards will be interested as puppies do come under the sale of goods act.
The vet should definately be interested as its their reputation at stake.
Its just awfull. It makes me so angry.
At least the dog is in good hands now though. Who knows what might have happened to it!

the girl was selling the mother of the pup too. its got me thinking, why lie about anything.....unless the dog is stolen or something

Did the vet check to see if the dog was chipped?
Did you keep the name and address of the seller?

she hasn't been chipped so i don't know what the story is. its taken me 4 weeks to receive the documents and then they are false when i get them. i spoke to the vet and he is really senile and sounded like he was off with the faries. i will have to wait till tomorrow when the receptionist is in. i assume the vets will want to take some sort of action. i have all the addresses and phone numbers, i will have to keep you updated
