very rough paw pads!!

my labrador, bruce as very rough paw pads, they are that rough that they scratch my skin when he jumps up. i check them all the time to make sure they not cut and iv never found a cut yet, so whats the reason for this, our garden is grassed so the surfaced that he spends most of his time on is soft!

Barney had the same. A breeder recommended me something and I started using it and it works very well....the worst thing is it's KY Jelly kinda embarassing to go buy at the chemist, good thing no one asked they would ahve thought I was crazy.
