Question Dog Groomers?

Is anyone here a dog groomer as i am thinking of doing the course and wanted some information,do you have your own salon or work in one?do you work from home

I would be interested to know if you make a living out of it

Have done both worked from home/mobile and worked in a salon. The answer is yes there is a living to be made out of it if, big if, you are good at what you do!! It is very hard strenuous work and kills the back and arms, it can also be quite dangerous on times cos the dogs aren't all the lovely little people that we own ourselves.

I was left with a scottie once the owner said she MAY suck my fingers more like take them off and chew them whole!!!!!!!!!

My advice is to see if you can get to try it first perhaps only bathing and drying you will have an idea then if it is for you because it is a huge outlay if it isn't
