Help with lead please

A friend was telling me the other week of a lead'attachment that she uses to walk two weims with one hand that stops them getting tangled, she was going to send me a picture - but it hasn't arrived and I know she is away until after the weekend - and I am impatient.

AlI I know about it is that it is one handle - fastened to that is a large Spring or Coil, of which are the lead attacments.
Anyone have any idea what this is??
I have a split lead and it is not that.
Thanks is advance
regards
DT

Re: Help with lead please

I know the sort of thing you mea - a fella round here walks his labs on one (well i think its what your on about). Looks like a coiled telephone cable - but two of em. I'm not too good at describing these things lol

it looks like this keyring, but obviously stronger and thicker with 2 coils rather than one....

sorry i cant help you find one though

Re: Help with lead please

I bought one from Pets at Home. It is a quite thick chain on a red handle. The chain then splits into but both ends are attached to a ring which means when my two decide to change places, which they do a lot, it doesn't tangle up. It's probably the best thing I have found for two dogs on one lead. A lot of the splitter leads get twisted when the dogs change places but this is the only one I've found that doesn't. I can't find it on their website but it might be worth looking in one of their stores.

Re: Help with lead please

Those coiled one's would worry me, what's to stop them pulling and how do you control it if it does? I guess they are for dogs that walk nicely though? Like the sound of a split lead that doesn't twist, try walking 5 dogs of different size on lead without ending up in a knot!!! (Which is why I never walk them on lead!!!)

DT - did you ever find out what lead attachment it was and did you get one?
I've been wondering for ages.
