Re: Have you ever been bitten and by what?

i got bit very bad when i was little , by a small dog i cannot remember what sort of dog it was, after a few days my skin started scabbing up, i had to go into hospital for a blood tranfusion the bite had posioned my blood, i think i was only about 4 years old but i do remember bits of it, also i got bit on the lip by my mums poodle, and the best of it was i shared my flake with him lol ,then he turned round and bit me, i think he was guarding my mum because she was pregnant at the time.

Re: Have you ever been bitten and by what?

Same jack russell twice on the mouth, ended up at the hospital for jabs etc.
This was when i was a kid and it put me off dogs for ages.
I really had a great fear of them.
But i have since beaten my fears and now have 6 dogs..i took it over the top with 6 perhaps.

Re: Have you ever been bitten and by what?

I forgot - maybe because I was only about fifteen moths old that I was bitten by a spanial also being so young I don;t know what type - but the poor thing was pts - appartantly it suffered fits - but I don't doubt for one moment that it was my fault as it seems I crawled int it's bed!

So thats a Spanial, a German Shepherd a poodle and a weimy!
My other half was bitten by a money is Sri lanka .

One of the hazards of being a groomer and having a name for doing awkward or nervous dogs I am afraid
That's very good of you, It's nice when someone takes on that challenge. Maya is terrified of water and trying to send her to be groomed is a hard job but i found a lovley groomer who will take her own despite her fear.
