To keep entire dogs and bitches.....

Is it fair to the dog when the bitch is in season?
How do you keep them seperate?

We have been fairly lucky,we have a biggish house and have no problems seperating them.He just walks aound the garden with his nose permantly attached to the floor.

i got entire dog and bitches
were seperate them to different rooms in the house, they seem fine with it
after the girls have been in the garden the boy runs out and sniffs everywhere,
while we swap them round to take turns in the garden we shut one or other in a cage just incase.
boys can be even faster if they know the girls around the garden and tricky monsters, so we cage him then, but after the girls have gone back in the other room we let him out.
