Dog Collars

Ok

Time for a confession

I have a bit of a "thing" for nice dog collars

Billy owns 3 at the moment, a red spotty one, a blue one with stars on, and a black and white starburst one.... I have just ordered him a lime green and blue stripy one

I get mine from the same lady who makes my cat n kitten collars so I'm always browsing her clearance to stock up for the next foster cat n kittens (another ladycat arriving next week probably - once all vet checks done).

So....

Am i alone? Is this a fetish only known to me?

Feel free to show your pics of your pups in funky collars - but dont let me buy more!

Re: Dog Collars

Sheba has one!
Red with shiny silver studs on it.
Its a nightmare getting a colar on and off her as she thinks its a good game and tries to eat it when putting it on!

Glad its not just me then! I've lost count how many collars and leads Dixie has!
I can't go past collars without looking to see if I want any.

Rainy maybe you can answer this for me then! Billy's harness came with a lead. The lead is nylon webbing but it has lots of extra d-rings along the length and an ectra clip? - i have no idea what or how to use it properly! I walk him on a tiny puppy lead at the moment until he is fully lead trained.

Re: Dog Collars

The reason for the extra d rings is so that you can have the lead at whatever length you want. Does it have a clip on both ends?

My lot all have a collar each but as I don't walk them all at the same time they tend to share the same collars and leads.

The best collar I have is Owen's it was made especially for him by a woman in Australia and is made from kangaroo leather. It is very strong and very soft.

yes it has a clip at both ends... but no apparent handle?

Re: Dog Collars

One clip clips on the dogs harness the other clips back onto one of the d rings to form a handle. You use the d ring that is at the length you want the lead to be.
