I have my Yorkie insured with Petplan. make sure you get a lifetime cover rather than a yearly cover.

I used to be with morethan and they were really good at paying claims but they only cover things for a year, and don't do lifetime cover at all.

I changed over to Axa, cheaper plus lifetime cover. I've (touch wood) never had to claim with them but I know a few people that have and said they got paid quickly. (Axa used to underwrite M&S when they were getting good reviews)

A friend of mine swears by Sainsbury's pet insurance

I'm with petplan. One good thing with them is that they will pay the vets directly so you aren't out of pocket on large bills. I think I only have to pay any bill under £150 up front at my vets, anything over would come direct from petplan.

Re: Hi i want to insure my puppy anyone got any advice who to go with?

Im with petplan with the puppy got life time cover rather then 12months

I know some people find them exspensive but i think its pretty cheap i pay £14 a month but mine is a cross bread which i think makes it slightly cheaper

The cats are going to be swapped over to them soon aswell!

I'm with Morethan and pay £10.99 a month. Not sure if pedigrees cost more though as mine is a crossbreed. They have been very good.
