A common thief!

Luika is now a year old and still shows no sign of giving up his thieving ways

It started with him stealing a workmans trowel as we walked past a few months ago. I heard someone shouting 'Missus', behind me and saw Luika happily cradling it in his mouth with his tail wagging. Obviously we gave it straight back.

He has since taken a child's ball, bread from the ducks, a bread roll from a neighbours shopping bag and today he made off with a large marrow bone while we were down the town. Luckily I caught him today since I wondered why people were pointed at us and laughing!!! I had no cash on me, so couldn't pay for it, so made Luika give it back to the nice stall holder.

Does anyone else have these problems?

Re: A common thief!

Hehehe what a pest1

I once had a gsd x collie, he used to steal things too.
We walked past a street vendor once, he stole a little yapping dog that does back flips. i told him no, put it back.. everytime we walked past a street vendor he nosed the yapping dogs and knocked them all over! lol

He stole a plant from outside a plant shop. She was bad for stealing things out of pet shops.

Noushka is our biggest thief, the raised bench in their shed is always full of wrappers(thats where she takes her stash!)

Oscar is a terrible thief. I'm praying he outgrows it. It's a nightmare.

I'll always remember watching one of my friend's dogs grab a pork pie from someone's sandwich box and wolf it down! Too late to do anything!

Re: A common thief!

bailey is terrible for stealing things!! he always steals the cats toys and rips them up.

we once walked past a man building a fence and he tried to steal a bit of the wood the man was using! i noticed though and managed to tell him no.

he always steals rubbish out the bins and as for food, anything goes.

Re: A common thief!

LOL mine stole the neighbours kid's football from their garden, I bet they're wondering what happened to it! It was a massive big thick shiny blue football, it must've been expensive - my mum wouldn't let him play out in our garden with it in case the neighbours looked out and saw it in our garden LOL

he also steals our slippers all the time, but he doesn't chew them, he just leaves them in random places around the house

and my Auntie bought my mum one of those expensive build-a-bear things for Christmas a couple of years back, and I caught the dog running around the house with that once too LOL it was really funny
