Brushing teeth
Oscar is 9 months old. When I first got him, I used a finger toothbrush and puppy toothpaste to get him used to having fingers in his mouth. He used to eat the toothpaste ( !) and didn't fuss but as time has gone on, he's become more resistant. Occasionally, I can hold his jaw open and have a look (everything is fine IMO) but he won't let me near him with a toothbrush. Should I persist with the toothbrush or leave it be?
(At his last vet check-up, the vet said Oscar's teeth and gums are healthy.)
Do you brush your dogs teeth?
