Until they start refunding entry fees for bitches inseason it will always happen. I am like you though Freyja would not take one inseason.

Another question regarding not walking your bitch whilst inseason. If you have any more than 1 bitch in the house Do you also not walk them as they can smell inseason to dogs
But they don't leave a scent trail

The last time I had a bitch in seaon I had 3 in altogether so they all went out in the garden together. I've never had a problem with walking other bitches when I had ones in season. Button is in season at the moment but my boys don't try to mount the other girls.

Last year I went from christmas to may without a bitch in season. 1 would just go out of season when the next came in the following season I had the setter first then the 3 whippet bitches altogether Button is just havving her second season so that will probably bring the whippets in soon.

Re: People who walk bitches in season...

Looking after all these bitches in season sounds like a real headache! I know how difficult and worrying I found it for just one season before Selma was spayed. Glad I'm not a breeder!
