A funny one this.

Have you ever noticed your dogs behaviour change? I will give you an example.

When we get the food ready for our dogs Mara our pup is right there watching closely. She would follow us to her bowl stand, then sit and we put the bowl down (she would be right at the bowl stand hard to get it on the stand she was that close) and then dive into it and guzzel it down till there was none left. Our lab however just casually walks about or sits in his bed and eventually goes over to his bowl and eats.

However over this last week Mara has changed how she acts. She still follows us while getting the food ready and sits before the bowl is put down. But does this from a good few meters away now rather than under our feet. then once the food is put down she sits still and looks at it! We say ok go eat etc and she just sits there!! If you go and give her a little nudge towards it she usually goes right over and woofs it all down like she used to! If you offer her more food she will eat so she is def hungry, I just think its really funny how she now waits once the food bowl is on the floor, maybe she is learning some manners!
