The Chuckle From Busy Buddy - Just The Dog

This toy keeps our Chesepeake amused, though we don't put food in it, the holes are a little too small for big tongues.
He can destroy toys in minutes but one off these lasts several months

If you find anything Beagle proof please let me know!

Alf can destroy anything and everything in minutes... when he was younger, plastic bottles with treats in worked well but they don't last at all now.

The only thing he has had for a period of time is a purple bottle, it was bought from pets at home, it has rope coming out of it. You can put food/ treats in the bottom then they chase it round the room to get them out. This really is the only thing that has ever lasted, he no longer has the rope in it but it's a good way of giving him his biscuits at breakfast.

Kong's are good but Alf's been through 2 or 3 already, he's currently munching his way through one of those black ones and they're meant to be really strong.

Good luck with the search!

H x

haha same as Holly, if you find anything beagle proof please share it!

bailey destroys absolutely any toy in minutes. the only thing thats lasted is his kong. but most other solid rubber toys are shredded really quickly. and squeakys are gone in seconds.

Re: suggestions for good challenging dog toys

I give my mastiff a long roasted bone that is stuffed from the pet shop, then when he has unstuffed it usually takes a few days i restuff it with meat, cheese, spreads, peanut butter etc.... Keeps him out of mischief. Also a treat ball, that you put small treats in and they have to roll it round the floor so that some come out. Mine is made of really tough plastic and has lasted him since he was a pup.

LOL - I like the idea of the toetector boots being given as a treat!

I bought Chance a toy in Australia that was labelled as "Indestructable". I had my doubts as it was basically a (very tough) canvas tube with plastic inside containing a rattle.

I proudly handed to her and spent an hour watching her try to destroy it! 30 minutes after that she had suceeded and it was in the wheelie bin!
