Dogs Trust opening a centre in Basildon, Essex.

They were at Asda today trying to get sponsors and said building on the new centre is about to start, it will be near the A127 and relatively easy to find.

Good that there is another building in progress and I bet it'll be fantastic since al the others are pretty swish, lol! I sponsored a Mastiff called Scooby.

Oh good, I was watching this get through planning. I'm kind of half hoping to get a job there! Not sure I can take being self employed and working 12 hours days 7 days a week much longer!

Go for it, nothing to lose eh? It'll probably be up and running quickly and hopefully completed in a matter of months.

Good luck and keep your eye on it to be the first to apply.

Months? Wow that is quick, I've been hoping since 2011 I think! They wanted to put one in my town but the council wouldn't allow it.

Drove past this today, the frame is virtually complete!
