Some nasty people out there...

Had an emergency come down to work last night (vets) a gorgeous 11month old rottie cross had been in an RTA, apparently car full of teenage lads had gone over him at at least 40mph over his back end and didnt even stop bloody idiots!! Some people just dont care do they the poor lil sod came in must have been in agony broke least one of his back legs hopefully he hasnt damaged his pelvis fingers crossed! but he were still wagging his tailsooo lovely, just thank god smeone had seen him otherwise god knows how long hed be in side of road!

I know if some people can harm other humans then animals dont stand a chance but to go straight over him and not even stop!!arghhhhh least its on CCTV and can go to police dont know if theyl be able to do much though.Right finnished my lil rant

Re: Some nasty people out there...

It is just wrong the amount of people there are out there that dont care

There was a story on our local site of a man who was caught beating his puppy with a frying pan, I think he punched it and smacked it around too. The pup - a staffy X - was found hiding, whimpering in a kitchen cupboard.

People like this should get very strong sentences....personally, i think that any suffering a person does to an animal, they should have the same thing done to them.

Re: Some nasty people out there...

It is an offence not to report an RTA involving a dog - don't remember how long they are allowed to file the report . I just hope that the police have time to follow it up and prosecute the ba**ards - could be the reason that didn't stop was because they were driving illegally, or some other sinster reason.

Yea probably why they didn't stop, the owners have gone straight to the police about it with the CCTV so hopefully, apparently the lads are always speeding around so theyr bound to have been in trouble with police before now. Ill find out tomorrow how the lil fellas doing so will let yas know got lots of cuddles of me last night though
