Re: How to stop a yapper Yapping

My sis dog only barks now when she really has to, Like door knocking etc but other then that..its bliss .hope it works. ps.she will need a smaller amount, just enough to drench her face, Because she is a smaller dog. Either that or try the pebbles in a bottle, My other sister filled a small cola bottle up a quarter of the way..when her dog barked or jumped up people she shook it very hard, This stopped her bully jumping up people I tryed that on my bully when she barked last thing at night in the garden for her last wee, I shook it or threw it just by her feet, That worked shutting her up lol, So if she barks, She gets pebbled and she shuts it.Stick with one tho for awile, If one don't work, Try the other. if none works...then gawd help ya lol. Re: How to stop a yapper Yapping
Hiya ive got 3 chihuahuas and my mum has 9 at her house aswell as 2 bullmastiffs. When i first started bringing mine around to play with hers the slightest thing would set them off!! They would all be barking at different pitches and the mastiffs would do these howls! I found it hillarious but my mums neighbours didn't!! we used the pebbles and it worked straight away they are great now, hardly ever bark and when they do its just tubby who does...little sod!!
![]() One thing i will say though is that they do get used to sounds so we changed whats in the shaker every couple of days. Good Luck!!

Re: How to stop a yapper Yapping
My sisters kitchen and the dogs bedding was drenched thro, Thats the joys of this tactic im afraid.
unless your willing to keep trying this way and see if it works this is what we have to put up with, Unless of caurse you want to try the pebbles in a bottle method? So many people i know have done either and had good results including myself but in saying that none may not work for you..as i said be4, it may or may not work..u will never know unless you put up with the wetness if you choose to use the water in the face way and persivere with it or use the pebble way if you can't put up with the water ![]() I've did both coz to tell the truth i simply cannot offord these pro dog people to come round on a one to one basis and sort it for me ![]() If none work then maybe look into other tactics that may well help if you cannot offord pro help .ps...least u have a clean kitchen floor lol ![]() |

, If the shaking the pebbles in the bottle alone don't work, Then try shaking and then throwing them by your dogs, remember to say simply *QUIET* then ignor them, even when you go pick the bottle up, Thats worked for me . |
