Hi Guys,

Well as per my last thread Cody is feeling much better today and kept sniffing at the door...i decided a walk just down the road might do the little fella some good.
He is great on the lead and it is no more than a 10 min walk so i though after being poorly this would be ideal for him! On the way down i saw a woman i used to know as a kid...with 3 dogs..she want on to tell me she has another 3 at home!!! She has 2 chihaha's (one long haired) a grey hound - who is beautiful, a mongrul, a shihtzu and a mini terrier... not only that but there was accidental mating between the shihtzu x poodle and chihuha - I couldn't believe my ears - she is 12 and never been spayed!!!! 12 and possibly expecting puppies!! Majority of her dogs are recuses...incl the beautiful greyhound - the council think she only has 2!!!!
Out of nowhere the chihuha that was with her snapped at Cody - luckily drew no blood but i was not best please...
She said ' ooo ill have to pop in see you - i just thought yea and ill hide from the door!!!'
How aful!! And my poor boy was being all friendly - the greyhound was lovely to him!! Licked him and everything even tho it was at least 4 times the size of him...

Not a very succesfull walk all in all!

Poor Cody, he's really in the wars!!! I'd definitely avoid her next time!!! nasty!!! hope your little man isn't too traumatised!!!

do the dogs have vaccine cover do you know? It might also be worth phoning the vet just to check you don't need to take action....

The dog never pierced his skin, and i don't think her teeth meet skin but she had a good go!! Cody just backed off! Luckily enough he only had his jabs last week so would imagine he is ok, it just isn't his week poor little fella!!
