Hi all, I'm new to the forums, and to keeping a dog. I'm adopting Phoebe - a whippet mix puppy (we think) on saturday from dogs trust. We're very excited and have sent ourselves almost bankrupt already. I've posted some questions on housetraining in the training section if anyone can help please, and I wanted to show you her first pic.

It was taken yesterday, she's a nervous little thing, and not helped that she had to be held because she hasn't had her second vaccination yet. I don't think she likes it very much!!

I'll post more pics on saturday as I'd like opinions on her breed. She's obviously a cross, but very very much like the whippet cross / whippet mix puppies I saw when I googled it. She's quite tall and long bodied... anyway, I'm rambling.

She was taken in with her litter. Not sure why she's so old... getting a question answered in that place is like pulling teeth - they're so busy at the moment.

Good on you for adopting, shes lovely. Im sure she wont be so nervous once she forges a relationship with you. Take eveything slowly and just give her lots and lots of praise when she performs outside for you.
