I hope I can get my new puppy to ask to be let out!

You're one step ahead if she's already asking to be let out.. but you should try putting her on a lead to take her out so she cant run about and play, otherwise she will use this time to play and have fun.

It might take ages but if you get your timing right, ie after sleep, or 10-15 mins after her having a drink.. then just put her on the lead, take her to the spot you want her to go pee and if she is sniffing around as if she might pee, use a command such as ''go pee'' and when she eventually pees, HEAPS of praise

Our dixie will jump at the door to ask to go out,, and pill ''go pee' on command now- really helpful if she is going in the car or something and you want her to have a pee quick rather than sniffing around for ages
