Re: What colour...

If you can't have pink - can you get away with purple or lilac?

If not red would be nice.

Re: What colour...

Red on a girl and blue on a boy or black on either of them.

Re: What colour...

we have red on our 17 month long haired german shepherd bitch. Red with wee metal stud bits round it. She looks so pretty with it on!
Weve only had her 3 days, and we went to the pet shop and I wanted to get her pink but OH said no too!

Re: What colour...

i would go for a brown collar...i find it suits german shepherds

My male gsd has a large brown leather half check collar and he looks great with it on (imo) Really stylish the chain bit and adjustable bit is golden metal colour!

My female ni has the same collar but not as thick as him and it suits her really nice too and she is a grey Northern inuit.

Brown leather is always my choice for whatever dog

Re: What colour...

The end choice is up to you - on my lab, she's had red and cuurrently has a sort of purple and white patterned one.

Personally, I'd say that a brown or black leather collar would go well with most dogs, regardless of their gender - they also tend not to look grubby after a while, like other colours and nylon collars do.
