Re: Microchip or not?
My vets come to us - BUT - they don't like to and try everything they can to get you to meet them at the surgery. the one thing I would always always always check when taking on a vet is that they do home calls - i recently had to have my beloveded dog pts and there is no way on this earth I would ever have considered having it done in the surgery - it cost - but it was worth every single penny.

Re: Microchip or not?
I think sometimes some of the smaller practices are happier to do home visits - our vets are primarilary farm veys - so they have to go out on call - I don't suppose it's too much trouble to tag the odd dog onto the morning round

Re: Microchip or not?
Mine's a 24 hour emergency vets, so I'd assume they would do home visits? I honestly never heard of vets doing home visits!
Took Jack to the vets the other day and ended up in tears walking up to the front door (it was the first time I'd been back on my own since my Dana was put to sleep there 7 years ago) Then when I got the tablets from him it still had my Dads name on it as I used the same account as Dana, just changed the name. I spoilt Jack rotten all yesterday because of that, he got away with murder for the day, lol |
