Re: Microchip or not?

I was advised my dog's breeder to wait until he's 6 months old because he's a toy breed but I had him chipped when he was castrated.

Hi i am new, and hope you do not mind me joining in your conversation?

If and when i get my new pet i will most certainly get her microchipped!

It would be horrible if they got lost and not found again!

I think it is well worth having done!

Of course your welcome to join in any conversation

It also worth remembering some dogs are also stolen and it can help reunite them with their owners

Yes that would be horrible too, a friend of mine had that happen to her blue siamese cat but she was lucky because she was microchipped and had her returned!

Re: Microchip or not?

If it's any help we had our little jack russell x chihuahua done (she only weighs 2.5kgs) and she didn't flinch. However, she absolutely screamed the place down when the vet cut her nails It is a big needle, but they honestly don't seem to mind it. I've had all my horses done too, and they didn't flinch either.
