Old dogs and what type is this?

I was thinking maybe I should get a very old dog from a rescue home so that I can have the experience of a dog and see how it would be for me, giving a nice old dog a new home to have a peaceful end in instead of rushing into getting a dog and getting a puppy. If the old dog works out then afterwards I could a puppy later.

and out of interest what type pf dog would you say this is.

Well I have lots of ideas in my head

I might do this, I will think about it a bit more. This may sound silly but you know that dog hubble, the one who was abandoned, I really like him!

Why not try fostering for rescue to give you an idea of what certain breeds are like and whether you think they could be suitable.
