Identifying dog

Hey fellow dog lovers. First time on this forum. Just wondering if we could have your opinions.

Last Summer our seven year old black Labrador (Phoebe), escaped and became pregnant. We have sold off all but one of the puppies (Paige). The only problem is we are unsure of the breed of the father. My husband and I have been debating this for months now.

Phoebe is 3/4 black Labrador and 1/4 Collie. We suspect the father of Paige is an Alsation. Pictures below:

(Phoebe left)

Paige is 5 and a half months, scrawnier than Phoebe, has a longer snout, longer tail and longer legs. Slight hunched back and totally black. Pictures below:

If anyone has any idea, please post.

Thanks in advanced.

Re: Identifying dog

Can't offer any help, I can see from the more distant photo that maybe a bit of gsd or even collie could be there...who knows!
She is a beautiful looking girl though, are you keeping her?

Re: Identifying dog

Not sure.

But what did you sell the other puppies as????
Surely the buyers must of asked you

Do not mean that in a rude way, just interested.

Yes, she's a wonderful dog. Brings light into the house.

We just told them the truth, it's half Labrador with a touch of Collie and we're unsure of the father.

Re: Identifying dog

Was just curious.
Hope someone comes along as gives you their suggestions.

Usually these kind of threads of "guess the breed" get a few suggestions, but looks like yours is proving a lil too hard so far
