Anyone have any suggestions? Beamer harrassing Blue

Yesterday and today Beamer has been following Blue everywhere with his head stuck between Blues legs sniffing and licking her privates. Hes doing it at every chance he gets and its getting to the point where we're having to drag him away from her or put him in a seperate room. Shes only 5 month, isnt that too early for her to have her first season? Or could there be another reason ? I thought maybe her hormones could be changing as shes coming up to 6 months she may have an early season?
Any suggestions will be a help thanks

Not unheard of for them to come into season at 5 months of age so it may be it x

Its not unheard of, although its said around 6mths onwards usually, its only an approx. It can be a little before as it can be a little or quite some time after. There are going to be hormonal changes before you see the usual swelling of the vulva and discharge.

I would say if he has a very sudden and complete obsession its likely a good indicator, dont forget their senses as regards to smell a thousands of times more acute then ours. Medic Alert dogs can tell way before a serious change in glucose levels in their diabetic owners, or chemical changes when an epileptic seizures going to occur in their owners. So I would be trusting his judgement I think.
