Exclamation If you've had snow please wash your dogs paws!

I don't know if there has been a post on this already - sorry if there has! x -

Just wanted to let you know that some dogs are getting seriously ill, some are even dying, due to the chemicals in the grit being used on the roads.

If you have walked your dog in the snow please make sure to wipe their feet and clean in between their pads and nails

Thumbs up Re: If you've had snow please wash your dogs paws!

Always worth repeating a good tip for newbies and those that don't read other sections of the forum.

The issue/chemical you refer to is salt, and using a light smear of Vaseline prior to walking in treated paths may help. Washing on return home.
