That sounds just like my neighbours 
We've lived here about 12 years now and they moved in shortly after we did with a staffy who was already a few years old, he was constantly being shut out in the garden in all weathers, in freezing snow, rain with no shelter, in melting heat etc and left there for hours on end even while they was home  then several years later they got a border terrier puppy which was treated the same...
In all these years they have never once been on a walk or even been shown any kind of love/attention, all we could ever hear was them shouting, swearing and hitting them 
And sadly now it seems the poor old staffy (must've been atleast 15 years old) has passed away
Just hope they don't get another one |
