Re: Brass fixings, white dog

Yep - I have Dexter who is a white cavalier x poodle. He had a brass tag on his collar and it stained his neck fur a dark grey colour
I have changed it for a purple tag and so far so good!

Re: Brass fixings, white dog

Maybe you could lacquer the brass?

I have no idea whether that would work, but hubby has lacquered the brass fender around our fireplace and it never needs polishing now as it doesn't tarnish
Dogless and Pointermum like this.

I think that would work if it was just a buckle or tag but the constant moving of the check chain bit i'm sure it would rub away quickly Oh well i'll have to look at harnesses instead

This harness is very 'Enzo'...or you could splash out on matching accessories for the ultimate in 'mad dog lady' chic .

Umm Dogless, I'm a little bit concerned about the websites you seem to have been frequenting today, first bikini's for Kenzie, now....'this'.... for Enzo and Pointermum, are you planning something for Kilo? Is there something you'd like to share with us?!
