Re: Clover was nearly attacked
Hope your dog is ok!
How on earth can you forget a lead? If you have an aggressive dog they should always be on a lead in my opinion. I was walking my dogs a few months back (Cavaliers) and this off lead Scotty dog came up to my male Cavalier (who was on a lead) and started sniffing him, then all of a sudden without warning it grabbed my dog by the throat and started shaking him and snarling! The owner just called the dog like nothing had happened and carried on walking without an apology. Luckily it didn't draw blood but my dog was soooo shaken up because he's such a gentle boy, he even lets my 13 wk old puppy push him around! The dog had obviously attacked other dogs before because the owner wasn't at all shocked by what he had seen, so why walk it off lead? I just don't understand some people. |

Re: Clover was nearly attacked
Glad you and Clover are ok, if a little shaken. How on earth can you take your dog out for a walk and forget its lead especially if it has a tendency to be a bit DA.
Now you're home, sit down, put your feet up & have a cuppa ![]()
