Re: Clover was nearly attacked

There's a bloke who walks a rottie across the fields near us, aggressive thing that has attacked numerous dogs police went to see him after the last attack (on my neighbours jack russell) he said it wasn't on a lead because its too strong and pulls him over and he will not muzzle it

That's got to be the lamest excuse ever, maybe he should consider, um, training it

Reckons its not his fault because it was a rescue - he got it at 3 months old!

Shame on him, my dog's a rescue, I'm not even 5ft & I can control him & because I know he's DA I make sure he's muzzled when I'm out with him. Rotties are such a trainable breed so there's no excuse

Re: Clover was nearly attacked

What a stupid woman letting her dog go out without a lead if she isn't good with other dogs!! Durrr .. some people are thick as two short planks

No, no...they ARE everywhere...

What a numpty. He should at least muzzle it if he knows it's DA. (obviously a lead would help too...)

Re: Clover was nearly attacked

How can you go out without a lead!? I couldn't keep my cool in these type of situations. Thank god we mainly walk in woods where there are a 100 different trails for everyone to use.

I hope Clover is ok

Re: Clover was nearly attacked

I was in the vets earlier with one of my rats & there was a rough collie offlead in the waiting room, it appeared to be calm enough but still, there are notices up stating 'all dogs on leads, all cats in carriers', are people too arrogant or illiterate to abide by the rules or something
