For anyone who lives in or near Harlow please can you keep an eye out for our pup who went missing this afternoon from woods in the Nettleswell area of Harlow. She is a Westie cross about 6 months old, she is our little rescue pup who was born with a serious heart problem for which she underwent major surgery. She managed to break from DH and went chasing after our other dog Belle but then went off in the wrong direction. DH and 4 of our dog walking friends were all calling out to her and then DH realising she was going in the wrong direction went chasing after her. We think she followed a man walking a Jack Russell and we are now convinced she was taken as she disappeared so quick.

Despite having a tag with our details we have had no calls. We have reported it to the dog warden, the local rescue and all the vets in the area (one of our friends works for at a vets so she called all of them), we have had several people out looking, both our girls have posted on their FB and everyone we know has spread the word far and wide. If you know of anything else we could or should do please let me know.

We are absolutely beside ourselves and just want her back

Just to let you know we got Tink back! so happy

Some guy phoned this morning at 5:00 said he had her because she followed his dog home. We went to pick her up, we had a hard job finding him and he lived absolutely nowhere near the woods where she went missing. Also he said he'd been phoning all night but no answer which is absolute rubbish cos even when we were all out looking someone stayed behind to man the phone Anyway apart from seeming to be a bit shaken up and very, very tired, she seems okay. I'm hoping she's just like this because she's had a fright and once she realises she's back home she'll be back to her usual bouncy little self!
