Ahaha, I just cant help myself. Some women have lots of shoes, some lots of bags. My boys have lots of collars!

What I need is some way to store them, so I can stop rifling through boxes trying to find the ones I like.

I was thinking of something like this:

Edit// I really want a collar with Rupert the bear on for my boy Rupert. Cant find one anywhere though! Seen loads of batman, spiderman ect.

Second edit// If you want the hooks, they're about £2 from Ikea http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/60095321/

I am SO going to do that...we are having half the garage converted into a 'doggie room' proper heating and everything and part of the house, so I am going to get them some crate covers and have a portrait done of them to go on the wall.....but now I am having a dog collar wall as well, will just need to stock up on pretty collars at crufts to display on my wall.

Re: Why did you pick "your" collar??

been reading with interest as I have been struggling to find a collar I really like for Skye ..... at the moment she has this one

Multi Paws Dog Collar by Pets at Home | Pets at Home

simply because she needed a collar, I didnt want to get a leather one as she was so skinny and I thought it might be a little harsh, and I didnt like any of the others ..... I am not a huge fan of pink for girls, blue for boys.

I am still very unsure of what to get ..... although some on this site have caught my eye ....

:: quido petz ::

How many collars do we think is acceptable ..... I only ever had one for my dogs up until now but now I am thinking it might be nice to have a couple of three ...... also do you take off the collars when they at home relaxing or do your dogs keep theirs on????

mine have their collars on all the time, except bed time. They have a collar for muddy walks, a collar for other walks, a colalr for special occasions, I am debating getting two Indi-collar house collars as I think about what they roll in and even when washed do I want those collars in my house.
Just an excuse to get another collar.
How many collars are acceptable? Thats like saying how many pairs of shoes are acceptable!!!

Wink Re: Why did you pick "your" collar??

Bramble has a rolled leather collar When we first got it, it was kinda orange then he went it the water and he turned orange >.<
But it looks good and it smooth so doesn't get caught easily.
The narrowness isn't an issue because we use a slip lead instead of attaching it to his collar so it's all good =)

SO, what made you decide on the type of collar your dog has? Or have you got several for different jobs/times of day etc??

Half-check? "Normal"? Nylon? Leather?

Any ideas would be fab. And links to where you purchased, please.

Thanks.
i have a leather one for bentley simply due to it being better quality and longer lasting than the nylon/fabric type and its easy to clean if dear old bentley decides to roll around in the muddy patch at the bottom of the park because its so much fun to get so mucky lol! but i must admit i do tend to use a light weight fabric collar in the summer as the leather can often make him 'sweat' and im worried about it rubbing his neck? ... why not take ur pooch to the pet shop with u and try on several types see how he likes them ...x

Re: Why did you pick "your" collar??

My boys don’t wear their collars while I’m in the house with them (it can leave a mark in the fur which is not good for showing) however I have a camouflage fleece one for Rupert which I stick on him when we go out.
