Living with a DA dog - diesels blog

After finally admitting to myself that yes, diesel is DA and i need to do some serious work with him, i have decided to make a blog so that anyone interested can follow our progress and see how we are getting on. It'll also be good for me to read back and see what progress we've made and where we went wrong (i'll also give me hope to read the good bits after a bad day!)

so for anyone interested: Diesel the Dog: The Story So Far...

Re: Living with a DA dog - diesels blog

Know the feeling.

Rex is walked on a Black-dog halter and wears a muzzle when he is worked (obedience club) off-lead. He is now perfectly reliable except when dog comes to him.

He looks good, well up to competition standard but I doubt he'll ever compete because there's always that 1 in a million chance of a loose dog.... he won't go to it but if it comes to him he'll kill it or try to.

Good luck with it.

Re: Living with a DA dog - diesels blog

Will be reading with interest, Benjie is DA too and I have tried a number of ways, but lack of consistency has always gotten us (He's not here with me all the time and the in laws don't continue with what I show them )
