Re: Upset, Angry, Frustrated and now Crying!

Our Biscuit chewed the arm off my OH's expensive eye glasses - doesn't matter that yes it was his fault that he'd left them where she could get at them, he was still upset. You're ALLOWED to be upset about such things and I'm sure that you didn't punish your pup after the fact.

Have a sense of perspective you stupid people !

The facts of this thread is the owner's dog seems to have free access to the bedroom, something most trainers discourage for so many reasons.

My reply offered practice guidance to someone that seems to need some basic guidance, if the dog chews stuff put things out of reach - it's not rocket science is it!

Of course our dogs have done stuff that we would prefer they didn't, and certainly more significant than a book or glasses and in each case it's been our fault for not thinking about a situation or anticipating an action.

What I do for a living is irrelevant and my caring side is very good as you may have seen is threads where the OP has been in need of it.

Getting angry and frustrated at a dog for taking advantage of a situation is just daft, something that one might expect from a child in such a situation?

Still got something to cry about?

wow you really know how to make someone feel worse!
just because things are worse for others doesnt mean what she is feeling is wrong, you have no idea what else is going on in her life and this could just be that little thing that knocks her too far....

Oh lord..... we are all human! people, me as well, look to this forum for a outlet as no one I know likes dogs or understands sometimes, and sometimes we need a little 'ooooh its ok' pep talk.

I really wish people that have nothing nice to say would not post.

yeh yeh yeh open fourm, freedom of speach.....yadda yadda

she just wants a little bit of kindness...... do you never need a kind word to make you feel better?

Re: Upset, Angry, Frustrated and now Crying!

Chin up Lovey

a lot of us have been here and totally understand. Ive had a few 'meltdowns' caused by Ernie while already feeling upset.

I hope you feel better soon. A good cry sometimes helps

then a cuppa, and draw that line..... start a fresh

Clearly there is the need for a sub-forum that is dedicated to hugs and cuddles for those that feel sorry for themselves.

I'm sure the moderators will be quick to create it.

A stupid person drags out a thread where it has strayed off topic, do you see yourself having done nothing but continue this?

Hmmm think you did that here actually:

So, you're calling me stupid then?

Glad we cleared that one up, but don't expect to call me stupid without me responding. It's not about taking a thread off topic or dragging anything out, I just have a dislike for rude and discourteous people and just like you, have a right to speak my mind.

So, just to save wasting anymore time and energy or taking this thread off topic anymore let's end it here.
