Do all crates have the same doors?

I am looking for a meta crate as Millie has brocken the zip on her fabric one in a week! The problem is that I find the doors on the metal ones a PITA...they stick out into the room becuase they dont sit flat againist the crate if that makes sense?
DOG Animal Car Carrier / Crate / Cage Folds Flat XL 42" | eBay

Are there any with better positioned doors? Im desperate!

These have an up and over door as well - not sure if that would be more suitable

All the ones Ive had and seen metal wise all have two doors, one at the end and one the side and the doors open outwards.

Re: Do all crates have the same doors?

Just an idea but if you were to take your fabric crate to a camping/caravan shop the might put in a stronger zip

Re: Do all crates have the same doors?

There is always my 'cupboard' option if you are stuck for space .

The crate we have has doors in both the side and front of it too.

Ah bless her, the little sod pot. it must have been hard work fitting that lot in while you were out no wonder she was tired.

These crates are a good idea, I used the spare bedroom to contain any damage he might do when we were out. I have to admit he wasn't destructive, although I have made a point of letting hubby know we were very lucky our next dog will be totally different.
