Hard Decision!

I'm feeling a bit fed up but I think I need to stop taking Dixie to agility until I can drive.

I'm gutted as I have wanted to do agility with my dogs for ages but I can't drive and it isn't on a bus route.

I had one person say they could bring me every week and that was fine, until they got a new car and there wasn't enough room for us.

Then someone else and it was good they had spare crates in the back of the landrover. Until the boy decided to do rugby instead.

But by this time the 1st people had altered the dog crate and there was room for me again.

Then it was xmas shopping, kids not well, me not well, my sister home from france, my lift had family over so I have not been since the end of november.

Now my lift have decided it's not Diylan's 'thing' and have decided to stop going.

No one else that has room for me comes past where I live.

My friend offered me lifts but now his dad is in hospital and its not fair to ask him to come with me if he is having stuff to worry about... and what's the point in going the odd week?

I am starting Xiva up in march with the beginners and have a definite lift with a friend who is taking her boxer Levi.
BUT- Dixie does not like Levi and I don't think it would be fair to force them in the same car every week (providing Levi passes that is! I am sure she will)

SO I have just emailed my instructor asking if, IF I hold off with Dixie just now, can she come back once I can drive. She passed her beginners course (obviously) so I hope she will just tell me that is fine.

Once I can drive it will be fine, the crate fits on the back seat and I am going to start teaching Dixie to shut up when she is in the car asap (she squeaks).

I had also already ordered Dixie an agility collar (no flappy bits) from Sid but it will fit Xiva and I will order another later on.

My provisional came yesterday and I am going to phone to book my first lesson for this week
