Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a bit of advice please, me and oh will be geting a 3 year old chinese crested in feb,she is a hairy hairless and I was just looking for a bit of advice on skin/coat care.

I have read many things on the internet over the last few weeks about how to care for them but alot of the sites say diferent things so I wanted to ask people who own them.

I have got a number 50 for my oster clippers is this ok for the body and face? or should I be doing a wet shave?
Should I shave before or after giving the dog a bath?

What products should I be useing e.g shampoo, cream for the skin?

Any other tips you can give me as I have never had this breed of dog before.

This dog has never been clipped before and has just been left.

I can't ask the breeder as she's coming from a puppy farm as a rescue and he's not a nice person.

Any help you can give me would be fantastic, I just want to make her skin and coat feel nice and not hurt her.
