He doesn't push down on the lock tho, cuz thats on the outside, he manages to push the lock hatch thing on the other side up
I get what you mean, I'm not sure what to suggest though, maybe a heaver latch a bit higher up or a slide lock and have people reach over.

Just found this 10" (25cm) Gate Door Closer Tension Spring waterproof | eBay because of the type of lock thats currently on there it should keep tension on the gate so the lock would land back into the lock poision, unless the dog figures out how to unlock it and pull the gate open at the same time, Although I don't have this Tension spring, so I couldn't say how well it would keep the gate closed.

Re: JayJay

I help when I can but there doesn't seem to be many that need a little bit of help apart from one guy I keep bumping into who can't see past parked cars to cross at the wee island thingy from his mobility scooter so I go and tell him when its clear

Its the little things you do that really help tho
This is the first time I have had a chance to really help someone.. Other than college placement at an elderly peoples home, but I want to go into a career in either a nursing/residential home, hospital as a HCA or as a carer that goes to elderly peoples home, as I love knowing I have helped someone or made them a little bit happier
