Thumbs up The One Show.

Had Noel Fitzpatrick on it last Friday and a couple of dogs he's treated.

Great to know that bone cancer isn't necessarily the end of the road and there's always Noel to ask for advice. If anyone can fix it he can!

Great bloke and my own personal hero - and Flynn's of course!

I missed it of course and had to watch it on iplayer!

Re: The One Show.

He's a professor now, don't ya know, lol! He deserves to be too with all he's doing.

There's a man I sometimes speak to with a border collie who I haven't seen for while that I had a chat with last week when out with Kali one evening. Anyhow his dog had blown three discs in his spine and he had ten days at Noels. He's home now and on crate rest for ten weeks but allowed out for small walks but blimey does that dog pull this guy around and it's only small. I asked if he'd tried a head collar but he said he just gets them off - well get a proper fit I thought! I find it amazing when people say that and here I am with a 58kgs dog who wears one no trouble, he hated it at first but he had to wear it for my sake. I'd be terrified if that was a dog of mine that he'd do more damage to his back.

I think it's a small world when you find a man just around the corner who has been to Noel, he said he didn't know my dog had been there too and that he liked Noel because he's straight talking. He's told this guy that as his dog is now ten if he blows any more discs it may not be repairable. God I would definitely sort out my dogs pulling if I'd been told that!

Re: The One Show.

I just think Noel is an amazing guy and what a credit to veterinary medicine he is. I love the way he is willing to push every boundary going for the sake of the animals he treats.

I saw him on the One show and thought of you and Flynn too.
