Worried about Bella!!!

On Friday evening my partner and I had a Pizza Hut. We forgot the box in a living room. On Saturday morning we decide to finish his pizza for breakfast before realizing that a half of his pizza was gone!!! Bella ate all of it!!! She had runs yesterday morning so we gave her cooked chicken and rise however, this morning we wake up into huuuuuuge mess all over the living room floor. We skipped her breakfast this morning and I am now wondering whether I should skip another meal and then feed chicken again?! Oh god, our house stinks! She also farts constantly! There was lots of cheese on that pizza and also spicy meat balls! Poor Bella, her bum must be so sore! We are sooooo stupid!

Aaaww poor Bella, I'd imagine she's just got an upset tum, but maybe if she's still not better by tomorrow, just pop her to the vets to double check. I'd imagine she's thanking you for just chicken right now if it was spicy meatballs :P

Re: Worried about Bella!!!

Oh no poor Bella!

As long as there wasn't anything on the pizza that can be toxic like lots of onion then I wouldn't worry too much, all the cheese has probably just upset her tummy a bit.

If she wants to eat then keep on with the chicken and rice, just give her little bits more often and I'm sure she'll be right as rain in no time.

If she doesn't imprpve in a day or so or gets worse/starts bringing up or passing blood then take her to the vet right away.

Re: Worried about Bella!!!

Oooooh dear do I sympathise with you.
When my samoyed gets the runs it is a nightmare constantly washing her skirt and tail.

It sounds as though it was the pizza that upset her tummy, I always keep 'Pro-Kolin' in stock for when this happens.

I hope Bella doesn't need the vets and all is ok.

Re: Worried about Bella!!!

I can definitely sympathise with the poorly tum dog this week!
As already been said as long as there wasn't lots of onions on it she is probably just suffering from too much of a good thing! but as she has a runny bum make sure she drinks plenty of water stick to bland things like rice, scrambled eggs, white fish, boiled chicken etc and if she is no better maybe tomorrow afternoon then pop her to the vets hope she is feeling better soon.

Re: Worried about Bella!!!

little bit different, but my 4 month old kitten decided he'd take advantage of my OH leaving some chicken chow mein out last night (silly man!). i was woken up by a very friendly kitten this morning stinking of chicken chow mein! thankfully seems ok little tinker!

i hope Bella is feeling better soon, i'm sure she'll be more herself tomorrow - like someone has already said...dogs have a stomach of iron! xx

Re: Worried about Bella!!!

Thanks everyone! No, there was no onions on the pizza, thanks to my partner who hates them. No runs during the day and I am keeping my fingers crossed that there will be no runs during the night either.

If diarrhea is back tomorrow, we are defiantly taking her to the vets.

Bless her, she is in season as well, so basically she is leaking from everywhere at the moment.

My partner was so funny calculating the damage: Bella ate £8 worth pizza and now we'll be feeding her £10 worth chicken. She is surely being loved in this household!
