Cheeky Labrador!!

Normally I dont like large bouncy dogs and the ratdogs dislike them more then me! But I had to laugh at the ingenuity of one young chap on our walk yesterday.
He came bounding over with his ball in his mouth but was stopped short by my lot yapping ferociously at him. As they often do with bigger dogs they bounced forward a few feet whilst barking (not to chase or be aggressive but to emphasize how much they 'dont' want to be bothered!!).
The Lab kept play bowing and run back and forward and also dropping his ball. I didnt understand at first but then I caught on....
The cheeky b****r was running up and dropping his ball, waiting til the ratdogs leapt forward then pretending they were after his ball!!!At which point he grabbed it and ran off, several times!!!

I couldnt help but admire his efforts for a game, even if nobody else was playing!!

Re: Cheeky Labrador!!

Bless. I bet you had a good laugh.

When Sprollie was a pupster she tried to offer her ball to the eldest cat who was snoozing on a dining room chair to get her to play.

This one half shoves her chews under the cooker, fridge and sofa and pulls them out and does it again and she lies flat and throws tripe sticks and pigs ears over to her other side then pushes them with her nose and "loses" them pretending she can't reach them.
