Re: Jumping into arms
Mine are too small...
but when I get home from somewhere and the dogs super excited I kinda crouch with one leg nearer the floor so that Adam can climb into my arms!![]() He does need a run up and sometimes falls off a couple of times before he gets it but when he does he climbs right up my chest and puts both front paws around my neck and gives me kisses! ![]()

Re: Jumping into arms
Coles used to do this but due to his age and the fact he has arthritis, I don’t encourage it anymore.
![]() The way I trained Coles was to hold a treat (you could use a toy if not food orientated) just above the head with my right hand and tap my left hand on the left side of my chest twice. He then runs and jumps and I can catch him. You could use a cue word instead of hand signal, such as jump. Good luck with Chester if you do decide to train him. ![]() |
