Ive never encouraged or allow mine to jump into my arms, my brothers dog broke his leg doing it, he jumped up expecting to be caught but he jumped right up at him when he wasnt expecting it and broke his leg,2 operations later he was still trying to jump into my brothers arms, it took a lot of time and patience to get him out of it.

Moll does it if we're sitting down,its not something I taught her though so I'm trying to make it by invitation only
