Where can I get a car harness from for dog?

Please can anyone advise where I can get a car harness from that will fit my dog who has as 56" chest?

I've been searching for two days and the biggest I've found was for a dog with a 48" chest.

I will be so grateful.

Try here: Big Dog World - dog food, treats, toys, beds, coats for large and giant breed dogs

I bought one from here which will fit a St Bernard. If you can't find it, contact him and he will advise.

Re: Where can I get a car harness from for dog?

Recently been looking at car harnesses myself. Although in german the following may be informative (not sure if there's an english equivalent).
.

We now have a two point harness as a single point harness is unlikely to hold.

Thank you for the video. I don't need the English equivalent, got the gist of it. Makes interesting watching. Thank you again for pointing out the safety feature of having a two point harness.

Where can you buy 2-point harnesses from? I did fairly extensive research into car harnesses and never came across any. I have a Bergan car harness, which is crash tested. I do quite a lot of driving with my dog on fast roads so wanted the best I could find.

Big Dog World don’t have a harness big enough

It looks like I will have to crate him in the car. I don’t have a car at the moment. Going to look at some at the weekend, but I will now have to buy a car that will accommodate his massive crate

If there is anyone that can help find a big enough harness, I will be very very grateful.

Did you contact them? They may be able to get you a harness even if he doesn't have one in stock.

Yes I contacted them. They said they didnt have any stock of that size and if I manage to get one that size to let them know, so they can stock them.

Im gutted. I really want to be able to use a seatbelt rather than his crate because its massive!

My last car, Buster couldn't fit in it, it was a megane sports lol!

You really need a big estate car, don't you? Or one of those people mover things? I never take my dogs far, and I know I will get slated but hey ho, but I just have the seats down in the estate car and they lie in the back.

I don't know what to suggest really.
