Worst day with bryson so far.

Sorry about the negativity but I kinda think yous are the only ones right now that can understand my frustration. Today my 14 weeks old puppy Bryson is the worst he has ever been... God I'm exhausted, we started training and he was doin great (he's so clever) then he had a nap and now for the last two hours he's been a nightmare! I just dont know what to do, he is running around like a lunatic, he bit me twice so bad he broke the skin and then he has also attacked my arm around 6 times and he is just so hyper... I'm so frustreated I want to cry... He has never been like this before, I just dont know what's gotten in to him!!

How much do you walk him?

How much training do you do with him?

What is he fed?

Re: Worst day with bryson so far.

we cant walk him yet cuz the guy we bought him from decided that he could save loads of money either vaccinating him himself or not doing it at all and just forge the documents so we had to do them again just to be sure, god monday cant come soon enough so we can start walking him... He's fed royal canin, but I'm going to start changing him over to a natural diet... He's usually the most amazing puppy ever, but today he's just insane... We're working on stay and leave it, he can alreday sit, down and shake, hehe, he picks it up so fast.. He's just a nightmare right now and I just dont know how to handle it...

CHIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLL

He is a puppy, he is behaving like one. His teeth are his puppy teeth therefore razor sharp and these wil go through your skin like a hot knife through butter. I have the scars to prove it lol.

Enjoy these lovely moments, they soon grow up and you will miss his puppy days

God, I admire your enthusiasm.

I certainly don't miss that.
But five is right. He's just a puppy and the zoomies are part of that. Terence went through that, too, and still has the occasional wobble. just ignore him. If he learns that he gets a reaction, he'll keep on doing it.

Hehe thanks, he's such a great puppy 90% of the time, and I'm hoping we can get that up to 98% when we can start bringing him on walks I need him to chill... He finally fell asleep now so I have about an hour of peace and quiet to tend to my battle wounds

Re: Worst day with bryson so far.

Have you been carrying him around outside for socialisation? At 14 weeks, his window for socialisation is closing, so I'd get out and carry him around, sit outside school gates, sit outside supermarkets, get him used to people, traffic, children, people stroking him etc.

Once he starts walking, he'll probably be calmer.

Yeah thats what I am tryin to do, to just ignore him when he gets like this, he is only 14 weeks and the good thing he is gettin older slowly but surely, even tho I do know we have even tougher times ahead of us

Iv never taken Sammy outside a supermarket. You think it would be ok even though he is 17 months now?
