Oh Ernie you are pushing it with with your attack of the Kevins lad. Hang in there, he will come right if you keep you head and be consistent.

Deep breaths...

Try not to let it upset you, he's not doing it out of spite and it sounds like everything he's doing is out of sheer excitement.

It will get better, as they say "stay calm and carry on"

Let him clean up the soup and get yourself a bag of chips!

It may not seem like it now, but hopefully one day soon you will look back at this lunch hour and laugh

thanks I'm calmer now that was the worst. He KNEW that was it because I put him in the down position and he didn't move a muscle!
Think it was so many naughts in 1 hour I just tipped. I totally see why people hit dogs coz I could have swung for him! Obviously didn't tho.

Count to 100 and start again

Re: All bad habbits in 1 hour= Me Crying and angry

Not saying my cure is the answer but this is what I did!

We had a severe problem with tyre chasing - began at about 15 - 18 weeks, and it was scary! I went out down a quite busy road and walked up and down it for a couple of hours - EVERYTIME a car went past I mADE her sit and stay, intially giving a treat and just saying over and over again, leave leave leave leave and then praising! She was cured in one afternoon!

Would perhaps try the same in a dog populated area if I were you just making him/her sit and stay (leashed of course) giving treats and encourage when they get it right!

It's a start!
Other then that dog classes for socialization may be the answer!

Don't give up! xxx
all the best

We are on week 3 in dog class at the mo where believe it or not he is amazing but really liking the idea of sitting in a park and watching and being calm. In fact that's my Sunday sorted

Re: All bad habbits in 1 hour= Me Crying and angry

I have had a few days like that; Kilo seems to behave beautifully for ages, then save all the bad stuff for epic, epic horrid days . I am certain that my mood is the cause after the first misbehaviour but that doesn't help!!

Hope you are feeling better and tomorrow is another day .

Re: All bad habbits in 1 hour= Me Crying and angry

Why don't you try a head collar that could at least cross off one of your issues.

I don't care if anyone thinks it means I couldn't be bothered to train him thats their problem not mine! My dog weighs nearly as much as I do so I couldn't physically do the stop dead routine he would have just pulled me over.. I use a Gentle Leader and it was heaven sent for me.

Good luck
