R.I.P Sweet girls

I haven't had much time to write this, and watching the death row dogs on iplayer reminded me.

The 3 out of the 5 Staffie/Mastiff puppies that I had around for a few weeks last spring/summer have been PTS due to failing the "pitbull test". After spending some time with them I was a bit heartbroken when I heard the news, they were so people orientated and even when Benjie grumbled at them they settled and it is hard to believe that these sweet girls have been PTS, first I thought it was only a rumour, then I spoke to the person who took them in (she runs a rescue from her home) and she confirmed it.

Lu-Lu - timid but sweet.

Sally - outgoing and playful.

Mavis - the cheeky one.

They were looking for new homes but never had the chance to see one.

Re: R.I.P Sweet girls

that is so sad so all they were guilty of was looking like a 'type' ??????????
seriously what is the world coming to?? should we get a description from crime records of the 'type' of person that murders, rapes, steals etc and just lock them all up because they look like the 'type' !!!!!

I hate people, honestly if i won the lottery i would quite happily buy myself an island and just have dogs for company!!!!

Re: R.I.P Sweet girls

that is just so sad and just soooooo wrong ........ there is no reason why these stunning dogs with the right owner, the right training and the right exercise couldnt have been the most loving family pets.

Its all just so unfair.

Run free sweet girls Malmum is right this world was not good enough for you. I am sorry you were let down so badly

Re: R.I.P Sweet girls

So sad this world is so cruel and unfair sometimes.

It breaks my heart when I think of how much love and loyalty those poor creatures were able to give...only to be treated in such a disgusting way by the very species they wanted to give it to!

RIP girls...be happy and free for the first time in your short lives, the humans didn't deserve your love anyway.

Re: R.I.P Sweet girls

Rest in peace little ones
All so gorgeous and with the right owners would have been very happy and healthy.
Were the other two managed to be rehomed? Hopefully they are safe

Those pups were lovely and I hope they are running wild up their having a good time which they deserve. Xx

As for the people who came up with this disgusting law, words aren't enough to express my anger
