no not at all, it happens all the time and i laugh because its true if you have never had it.

as i grew up in a house with rough collies i think a house without dog hair on your clothes is odd!!!!

In all honesty the shedding wasn't really a consideration before getting my chap, I mean I knew he'd need regular grooming and as I say I hoover every day anyway but it was a pleasant surprise to realise he sheds a heck of a lot less than our old spaniel did
Oh believe me if mine didnt shed it would be a big bonus
