Just bought some from Ebay for Mavis in the spray bottle...hopefully it will help her relax a little......

anyone else use it and did you see any difference?

I have bought the plug in for when we go on holiday for 2 weeks and have to leave our 2 boys Let's hope everyone says Adaptil DAP is brilliant and really works well I have also bought a 2-3 week supply of Zylkene tablets for one of the dogs as he is more likely to get distressed when I am away as he is a bit of a velcro dog.

I'm also thinking of a thundershirt for her...see if it helps her with trips to the vets etc as one of these day a trip to the vets is going to kill her how high her heart rate goes

It is good to know as scrip is totally scared of a vet! (no wonder as i took him from vet's dog pound)...and he collapsed after last visit..do you think the coat willhelp?..?and wonder how to get it send here...or how to diy one?

I'm hoping it might..dunno...its terrible when your dog is so stressed at the vets...she starts shaking in the car, before she even gets anywhere near

Thanks, won't be going away for a few months yet but just bought the supplies in ready Will definitely let you know what happens (or at least what our pet sitters/dog walkers report back to us with regards to how our 2 boys get on)

Ive used the Plug in and Ive used the collar for outside on Kobi, still use them for times of stress like fireworks.

You can use the spray too for outside, if you spray it onto a doggie bandana or even some material and tie it around their necks.

I would say it deffinately has an effect and take the edge off.

I used a DAP diffuser for Ted when he was scared of fireworks, it put out so much pheramone that he nearly breast fed from meeek:eek:

I've used the Dap spray for Honey when she is travelling and have had really good results. She used to be sick and scared but now she is much more relaxed and hasn't been sick in the vehicle for some time.

I also use it for walks near traffic but I spray it on the legs of my jeans instead. It also seems to work very well and she is much calmer. I don't use it every time I go out now but only if I think she needs a boost.

I wouldn't be without it now.
